Harrison-Clarke Visit
We are Roger and Hilarie Harrison. Hilarie made non-commercial wine in our garage in Los Angeles for many years before we planted 12 acres of Syrah & Grenache in the Santa Ynez Valley.

The site is almost 100% limestone, shaped like an “M”. The vines in the top section grow in solid limestone (Cuvee at approx. 1.2 tons per acre), the vines in the lower sections (where the limestone is deeper) grow in more clay/limestone (Estate at approx 1.7 tons per acre).

Roger works in the vineyard under the watchful eye of viticulturist Rubin of Coastal Vineyard Care. Hilarie has been making our Harrison Clarke wine from its first harvest in 2003. Sashi Moorman is our wine consultant.
